Glock 43X and 48 Grip Tape

The 43X and 48 share a frame, and it is a narrow one. That is the whole point of the gun — a single-stack-width grip with ten or fifteen rounds in it — and it is also the reason the factory texture struggles. There is simply less surface for your hand to work with, so any loss of purchase matters more than it would on a 19.

What this is

Laser-cut Cordura® 1000D panels that adhere to the frame. Not a replacement grip module, not a sleeve, and not skate tape. It is fabric — real texture that holds when your hands are wet, cold or gloved, and that will not abrade a concealment garment or the skin underneath it.

• Fits Glock 43X, 43X MOS, 48 and 48 MOS.
• Cordura® 1000D, MIL-DTL-32439 compliant. IR compliant and Berry compliant.
• 3M Low Surface Energy adhesive. Grips mechanically rather than bonding chemically to the polymer, so it lifts off clean and takes the adhesive with it.
• About half a millimetre of added thickness. Most kydex absorbs it; a very tight custom holster may want a quarter-turn on the retention screw.
• Installs in minutes. Alcohol wipe, peel, place, press. A 20-minute window to lift and reposition before the adhesive sets.
• 16 colorways, from flat Black through M81 Woodland, MultiCam and three Tiger Stripes.
• Cut and made in Pennsylvania.

Why not stippling

Stippling works. It is also permanent, it voids nothing but it does devalue the frame, and it is aggressive enough that daily appendix carry will sand the inside of a shirt within a month. A wrap gives you comparable purchase, comes off clean, and can be changed when you get bored of the colour.

Complete the setup

The 43X and 48 are usually carried with a light and often an optic. We cut wraps for both, from the same fabric in the same colorways, so a matched set actually matches — Streamlight TLR-7 sub, SureFire XSC, Holosun 407K, 507K and EPS Carry, plus extended magazine wraps.
